About Huschka House
Providing Safe Housing & Support for Homeless Young Adults in Northeast Tennessee
At Huschka House, our mission is to ensure every young adult in our region — especially those
aging out of foster care or facing homelessness — has the opportunity to build a stable, successful life.
We provide transitional housing, life-skills training, and supportive services for young adults
ages 18–21 who need a safe place to land.

We believe all young adults deserve a chance to thrive, to define their own future, and to make a positive impact on the world.
Why We Exist
Every year, young people in Northeast Tennessee exit the foster care system or experience housing instability without a safety net. Many end up homeless — often couch-surfing, sleeping in cars, or worse.

Huschka House exists to fill that gap.

We offer a place where these young adults can live safely, develop life skills, and gain independence — with the support of mentors, volunteers, and a caring community.
